How to renew your user level ratings:
All First Response Provider Ratings:
- Reset your eLearning(s) by contacting training and membership services team via the chat function or email Training@tdisdi.com
- If you did not do eLearning or want to review the eLearning and take a written final skip to step 3
- Complete your eLearning
- Schedule a course with an instructor. You will be retaking the full course from the instructor you choose.
- If you did not take eLearning or are opting to take a written final the instructor will administer this during your course.
- Upon completion of the course, as outlined in the standards and procedures, the instructor will process your certification and you will be renewed for 2 more years.
How to renew your Instructor level ratings:
All First Response Instructor Ratings:
- Every Instructor must go through and successfully complete a biannual peer review with an instructor/Instructor Trainer with equal or greater certification(s).
- The peer review shall consist of the Required Skill Performance and Graduation Requirements of the specific course as outlined in course standards.
- Upon successful completion, the peer will sign off on the First Response Training Instructor registration/Upgrade Form.
- Submit the form to the Instructor’s/Instructor Trainer’s Regional office or World Headquarters at Training@tdisdi.com
- Upon completion of the peer review, as outlined in the standards and procedures, section 6.13, the instructor will process your certification and you will be renewed for 2 more years. Other scenarios for renewal and reactivation can be found in the above linked Standards and procedures.
All First Response Instructor Trainer Ratings:
- Instructor Trainers maintain their IT status by conducting at least one course at their highest level every two years.
- In order to certify providers ITs must still adhere to the Instructor Ratings Renewal Procedure above.
