5 Groups That NEED CPR Training & Certification ASAP

Obviously, everybody needs to know CPR – but if you belong to one or more of the following 5 groups, you owe it to yourself and those around you to acquire the skills, knowledge, confidence and peace of mind that goes hand-in-hand with proper CPR certification:

1. Parents & Soon-To-Be-Parents

Your baby is contentedly in the swing, enjoying her pacifier when she suddenly gasps. You quickly discover that the nipple’s come off of the pacifier and has become lodged in her throat. Do you know what to do?

Infant First Aid & CPR is different than what you may have learned for adults. Get the life saving skills you need before your baby needs you to have them.

2. Teachers & Childcare Workers

You’ve told your class a million times to keep their chair feet flat on the floor, but the class clown had to show off. Now he’s toppled over backwards, hitting his head hard. When you get to him, he’s unconscious. What do you do?

There’s literally no limit to the ways kids can hurt themselves. On top of that, illnesses and medical emergencies do happen. You want to be ready for anything. The First Aid and CPR training you need is here.

3. Construction Workers

Your buddy’s walking across the job site when all of a sudden, they grab their chest and goes down hard. They’re sweating profusely, can barely talk, and look absolutely terrible. Do you know what to do to help save their life?

Construction workers are at a higher risk of Sudden Cardiac Arrest than the general population. It’s important that you know CPR and how to use an AED. Also critical – knowing how to respond to the falls, slips, trips, and other accidents that can happen on any project.

4. Personal Trainers

It was just supposed to be an easy jog through the park with your new client, who’s determined to get into shape but still has a lot of work to do. Less than half a mile in, they’ve tripped over a shadow, fell hard, hurt their ankle, and are in a great deal of pain. What are your first steps to help them feel better?

Working out is great for your health – right up until someone hurts themselves. Having the skills to deal with common injuries, including sprains, bruises, and the fallout from slips and falls makes sense for any personal trainer. Knowing CPR is valuable just in case a client experiences a cardiac event on your watch.

5. Community Members

The grocery store is packed the way you’d expect right before a major storm rolls into town. You’re in line, waiting to check out, when an older woman gasps and falls to the ground. Her husband tells the crowd she has heart trouble. Some people have their phones out, but no one’s moving to help the woman. Do you know what to do?

Prompt CPR can mean the difference between life and death for someone who’s experienced a Sudden Cardiac Arrest. Yet nearly half the population doesn’t know how to help someone when the worst happens. Stand out from the crowd. Learn what you need to know to save someone’s life.
